Our Story
Sincerely,   Ricky and Jim
     We would like to take a moment to introduce you to Angel Bear Adult Care. We
are Ricky Lowe and Jim Feeley residents of the desert since 2000. Ricky has both
managed and worked in the furniture and uniform business for the past 17 years.
Jim is an active 27 year veteran of the airline industry. He is a flight attendant for a
major US airline, flying internationally around the world. Ricky will be your Angel
Bear caretaker and Jim will manage the  administrative responsibilities.
















her move in June of 2007 at the age of 92. Ricky undertook the responsibility of
handling her relocation to the desert, and we both undertook being her part-time
caretakers. Looking after her needs and seeing to the needs of others similar to
Miss Ellie, the idea of Angel Bear was born.      
     Our mission at Angel Bear is to help you keep your independence. To give you
the ability to make appointments, shop and tend to all your needs as if you were
totally on your own. We will help you and assist you, so that you will never feel like
you are a burden to family and friends. Make that special time with your family and
friends to be just that, time to visit and socialize and enjoy their company.

     It seems that we have been
preparing for Angel Bear for a longtime.
After Jim's fathers passing  in 1991, his
mother "Miss Ellie"  started visiting with
us anywhere from  1 to 7 months a year.
Always enjoying her time with us in the
Southern California area and then in  
the desert.
     After trying assisted living in Florida
for about a year and finding not only was
it not to her liking, but also very
expensive, she asked for our help in
moving her to the desert. She wanted to
once again live on her own as an
